Superfood Chocolate Berry Tart

Base Ingredients

1/4 cup 365 Nourish Chocolate Greens Superfood Powder
8 medjool dates (or 1/2 cup packed pitted)
1/2 cup hot water
Pinch of salt
1 T cacao powder
1 T coconut oil
1/2 cup almond meal
1/2 cup + 2 T buckwheat flour

Filling Ingredients 

1 T 365 Nourish Chocolate Greens Superfood Powder
100g vegan baking chocolate, melted
2/3 cup vanilla coconut yoghurt
1 T cacao powder
Pinch of salt
1 T coconut oil
1-2 cups fresh berries or seasonal fruit

Make

  1. Preheat oven to 150 degrees Celsius fan forced.
  2. Add the dates, water, and salt to the blender and blend smooth. Add the coconut oil, cacao powder and chocolate greens powder and blend until combined. 
  3. Transfer blender contents to a mixing bowl, add the almond meal and buckwheat flour and combine all ingredients to form a dough. 
  4. Press mixture into the base of a tart tin, Pinching across the rim and place in the oven to bake for approximately 20-25 minutes. Remove and cool. 
  5. Make the filling by adding the coconut yoghurt, cacao powder, chocolate greens powder, salt, coconut oil and melted vegan chocolate to a blender. Blend smooth and then pour and spread mixture over the cooled base.
  6. Top with fresh berries and serve.
