Base Ingredients

1/4 cup 365 Nourish Chocolate Greens Superfood Powder
8 medjool dates (or 1/2 cup packed pitted)
1/2 cup hot water
Pinch of salt
1 TBS cacao powder
1 TBS coconut oil
1/2 cup almond meal
1/2 cup + 2 TBS buckwheat flour
 
Filling Ingredients

100g vegan baking chocolate, melted
2/3 cup vanilla flavoured coconut yoghurt
1 TBS cacao powder
1 TBS 365 Nourish Chocolate Greens Superfood Powder
Pinch of salt
1 TBS coconut oil
1 to 2 cups of fresh berries or seasonal fruit
 
Method - The Base
  • Preheat oven to 150 degrees Celsius fan forced
  • Add the dates, water, and salt to the blender and blitz until smooth
  • Add the coconut oil, cacao powder and chocolate greens powder to the same blender and continue to blitz until combined
  • Transfer the blender contents to a mixing bowl and add the almond meal and buckwheat flour
  • Combine until a dough is formed
  • Press the dough into the base of a standard size tart tin, pinching across the rim Place in the oven to bake for approximately 20-25 minutes
  • Once baked, remove from the oven and leave in the tin to cool down whilst you prepare the filling
 
Method - The Filling
  • Add the coconut yoghurt, cacao powder, chocolate greens powder, salt, coconut oil and melted vegan chocolate to the blender
  • Blitz until smooth and pour over the cooled base
  • Place in the fridge to set overnight
  • Serve with fresh berries or seasonal fruit
